Skinner's Roam is a fairly large rocky desert territory controlled by the The Holy Nation but not actually patrolled by them until certain World States are achieved. They control multiple Holy Mines in the area, some of them abandoned, though still "claimed" by The Holy Nation. A valley between ridges in the South of the zone corresponds to the geographic centre of the Kenshi World map.

The lack of patrols in this area allows huge groups of hungry bandits to harass travellers. Wild Bulls deem it safe enough to roam the zone in large herds.

Skinner's Roam is also known for the huge dust wall that might have ruined one of the Holy Mines.

There are no Major Towns in Skinner's Roam.

Ancient Locations[]

These are places which do not have competent inhabitants. Ancient Locations are usually lost outposts or ruins. Beware: sometimes these locations contain territorial protectors such as Security Spiders.

Camps[]

These are temporary locations which can spawn randomly. They usually spawn with Camp Beds which are free to use. This zone has a maximum number of 6 camps/nests. The numbers in closed brackets are the weight of camps/nests.

Nests[]

Nests are temporary locations which can spawn randomly and typically belong to Animals. This zone has a maximum number of 6 camps/nests. The numbers in closed brackets are the weight of camps/nests.

Homeless Spawns[]

These are squads which spawn without being tied to a location, camp, or nest. This list is in order of likelihood. This zone has a homeless spawn rate multiplier of 0.8. The numbers in closed brackets are the weight of homeless spawns.

Neither the ground nor the water in this zone is acidic. Cactus Farms should thrive in this area and the animals which spawn here do not eat crops (despite Wild Bulls being Herbivores).
