Free Settlement is a small deserted town located south of Brink. It belongs to the United Cities but there are no residents nor roaming guards. There are a couple of ruined buildings and several of them have Building Materials, Iron Plates, Fuel and some less useful items.
It is unclear what exactly is the cause of this town's devastation, but given the location where it is built, it was probably abandoned due to the hostile fauna or Anti-Slavers in the region.
Town override[]
The Free City is a Town Override which can occur at Free Settlement. The Free City is controlled by the Anti Slavers. For this location to be created, players must ensure the following World States:
- Tinfist is not dead/imprisoned
- Emperor Tengu is dead/imprisoned
- Longen is dead/imprisoned
After the following criterias have been met, the area will be taken over by the Anti Slavers and contain the following buildings:
- Bar
- Mechanical Shop
- Tech Hunter Shop
- Hydroponics
- Power Station
As well as four purchasable buildings:
- 2x Old Storm House (c.32.000)
- 1x Watchtower (c.112.000)
- 1x Bughouse (c.56.000)
The Free City will remain under the control of the Anti-slavers even if Tinfist is subsequently imprisoned or killed.
